Because Nintendo's one is always the best! AND WOW!! It was AMAZING! The new controller is soo weird....but sooo cool!! And I love it! And I love Nintendo. Will do a full article soon! =)

MAY IS OVER! Bring on JUNE!
So it's June...and THANK GOD (this was meant to be posted on the 31st of May >.<)! While May was great due to MCM, I also had 6 exams. So I couldn't be happier that May is finally behind me. I have been back in BEAUTIFUL London for nearly a week now, but I only have a day and a bit left to enjoy before I go back to Nottingham. I will be working in a Primary School for roughly 3 weeks, but...on the plus side...those 3 weeks will earn me £600!! SCORE!
And another reason why I'm so happy we have finally entered June is because of all the greatness to come! The new Paramore Single, Monster, is now available to listen to in full, WWDC tomorrow (iOS 5 and OSX Lion revealed!), 3DS update AND Nintendo's E3 Media Presentation the day after WWDC (which is likely to bring more cool things to June) and...let's not forget Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time re-release for the 3DS on 17th June. And is the wasn't enough, on 28th June, I'm going to be watching Glee LIVE at the 02! Yesterday was also the Pokémon VGC...which I was meant to go to. But things arose and was unable to. Meh...I'll go next year...maybe when I'll actually compete! LOL! >.<
But, as I said, May wasn't all bad. May brings us the wonderful MCM Expo at ExCeL London (yes...that is how you write ExCeL...I'm not crazy. =P). This event comes about the last weekend every May and October (Friday to Sunday), and I've been attending both times every year for a couple of years now. But this time was special. This is the first time I've actually, properly cosplayed. Whereas normally I just wear my Mario hat and game merch. And who else did I cosplay as then Mario himself! And if you didn't know, cosplaying is basically dressing up as any gaming/anime/any geeky character. A lot of people cosplay at this, and a lot of similar events. As well as me cosplaying, a lot of my friends did too. From Yasmeen as Luigi and Nina as a generic anime schoolgirl to Yves as Hiyori (Bleach) and Sanjay as Goku (DBZ).
Also, thanks to the 3DS launch, I met others who also go to the amazing MCM. Such as Colette and Holly dressed as Kairi and Namine respectively (Kingdom Hearts) and Robin who didn't technically cosplay, but wore massive bear arms...all the better to hug you all with (I know that's the big bad wolf...whatever =P)...and he gave out a lot so you probably saw him about. The outfits some people were wearing was amazing, such as Voldemort and some of the outstanding Pokémon cosplays. I even saw someone dressed as Shinichi Kudou from Detective Conan (aka Case Closed). The main character from an EPICALLY long ongoing manga that I'm reading (and only 50% through =/).
A few of my friends didn't cosplay, but they will next time...even if we have to make them by FORCE. =P
One of the highlights of the day HAS to be the StreetPassing. I got nearly 100 hits at the event, which helped me finish all the puzzles, round 1 of the StreetPass Quest and half of round 2. Bring on MCM October!
EPIC AMOUNT OF PICS TO FOLLOW!! XD

UPDATE
No double dip recession. We had growth (even though it was minuscule), which actually surprises me. But this gives off another question...with all the recent cuts, how long will this growth last? And what was the reason that it was negative last quarter? It couldn't have been weather, could it? That's ridiculous.
Read the article here.

Double-Dip Recession?? I wouldn't be surprised.
As we all (or most of us) know, we were recently in a recession. For all those who can't remember, it started halfway through 2008. Negative growth started in Q2 2008 and since the following quarter was negative growth, this was labelled as a recession (recession=2 quarters of negative growth). This happened while Gordon Brown, Former Labour Leader, was in Government. It was apparently all started by the collapse of banks, such as the Lehman Brothers in the US and since "when America sneezes, the world catches a cold" (Mr. Fivash), many countries...including us...went into recession. It was also due to aspects such as the credit crunch, where banks refused to lend (although not entirely sure if this was before or after).
A lot of craziness happened between Q2 2008 and Q4 2009 (the first quarter of positive growth after 6 quarters in the red). Interest rates hit an all time low (love the band XD) of 0.5%, Woolworths became bankrupt along with other businesses, a lot of money injected in and a lot of government intervention to save the banks, such as the takeover of RBS. Due to the recession, Labour and Gordon Brown got a lot of slack and lost face. Many people screamed for an election rather than the unfair passover from Tony to Gordon. Many Labour voters walked away as they were believed into thinking that Labour had "messed everything up" and first time voters were swayed away too.
A general election was finally called for May 2010 and everyone was on a LibDem/Nick Clegg hype (but they lost seats).Everyone believed they had a chance of winning. We had debates from the 3 major parties, which has never happened before. There were many agreements and disagreements but, when regarding the Economy, there were two major plans. Either make cuts now ("the deficit is too large") or wait until later ("we need stable growth first"). I'm sure we all know the outcome, Labour lost and no one got enough seats...leading to a coalition from Conservatives and LibDems, who agreed on basically...... nothing.
Well, if you haven't heard, last quarter (Q4 2010) we dipped back into negative growth because of "bad weather". Which is laughable, to say the least. Cuts have been made most of this year, especially this month. Soon, if you look at BBC NEWS you can see that the key figures for this quarter are soon to be published. If the GDP growth figure is negative, then we are officially back into a recession, deeming it to be called a "Double-Dip Recession". This is because we have only been out of negative growth for a year (4 quarters) and if you look at a chart of the growth for the last few years...you will see a double dip....how nice....
And, to be honest, would you be surprised? I won't be. The cuts were made at the wrong time, IMO. I wonder what will happen at the next election, because people now hate Cameron and Clegg. Will Clegg still lead LibDems? What about Cameron? Will people switch back to Labour? Or are they still hated too? Will AV be in place? There are so many questions, but I guess all will have to wait. But the recession one...well not too long. Watch this space...we'll see what happens.
Also, I'm still annoyed that we sold of Cadbury's!!
